- This is Zendaya's first Prada Beauty role, built on years of history as a Prada fashion ambassador.
Prada Beauty, the L’Oréal-licensed line, has appointed Zendaya as the new global ambassador for Prada Paradoxe, with the news breaking Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
The campaign was directed by Barry Jenkins, with the Eau de Parfum built on notes of white amber, neroli bud, and white musk, alongside the newly launched Sweet Chemistry variation, a floral-fruity fragrance built on blackcurrant syrup, orange blossom absolute, and neroli milk.
Rosa Carriço, global president of Prada Beauty, said Zendaya perfectly embodies a femininity that defies definition and is always authentic, calling her the ideal partner for the brand’s next chapter.
Zendaya, for her part, said Paradoxe “celebrates complexity, capturing both strength and vulnerability without trying to frame or define someone.”
The appointment reunites Zendaya with husband Tom Holland, who has fronted Prada Paradigme, the brand’s male fragrance, since August 2025, making them one of beauty’s most visible couples.
This is Zendaya’s first Prada Beauty role, though she’s long served as a Prada ambassador in the house’s fashion campaigns.
Jenkins’ involvement ties into a busy Prada run: he also just directed the house’s Fall/Winter 2026 “Simple Stories” campaign starring Hunter Schafer and Troye Sivan, following Benedict Cumberbatch and Letitia Wright fronting Prada’s Re-Nylon 2026 sustainability push earlier this year.
Zendaya’s role also follows Bella Hadid‘s run as Prada Beauty’s first-ever Global Beauty Ambassador, showing the label building a dedicated beauty roster alongside its fashion faces.
On screen, the youngest-ever two-time Primetime Emmy winner for “Euphoria” has had a packed 2026, opening with “The Drama” and returning this summer in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” alongside “The Odyssey,” with “Dune: Part Three” due in December.
Beyond Prada, Zendaya co-designed her first full footwear and apparel collection for On and continues as a Louis Vuitton ambassador, starring in the house’s 2026 Monogram anniversary campaign.
Takeaways
Zendaya moving into Prada Beauty isn’t a stretch; it’s a formality. She’s already been a Prada fashion fixture for years, so folding in fragrance just closes the loop.
And putting her opposite Tom Holland across Paradoxe and Paradigme turns two separate ambassadorships into one built-in love story no ad agency could script.
The bigger story might be Barry Jenkins directing back-to-back Prada projects in one year: fashion in July, beauty next. That’s a luxury house treating campaign films less like ads and more like short cinema.
Does pairing a real-life couple like Zendaya and Tom Holland make a fragrance campaign feel more genuine, or is it just smart marketing? With fashion, beauty, and sportswear deals all running at once, is Zendaya becoming the industry’s most in-demand multi-category ambassador?
