The BET Awards, a celebration of talent in music, film, sports, and entertainment, are taking place this Sunday in Los Angeles, California. We used Booking Agent Info to research the agencies behind this years line-up.
WME represents 22% of the nominees, including stars from sports, music, and film/TV such as Anthony Edwards, Denzel Washington, Summer Walker, Gunna, and Nicki Minaj.
CAA follows with 18%, representing talents like Tems, Doja Cat, Beyoncé (both Doja and Beyoncé are nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist), Jalen Brunson, and Damson Idris.
United Talent Agency (UTA) reps 10% of the nominees, featuring artists like Cardi B, Burna Boy, Lil Wayne, (Burna Boy and Lil Wayne are both nominated for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist), and film/TV stars Anthony Mackie and Issa Rae.
Wasserman also represents 10%, with nominees such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Future (all three are nominated for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist).
Independent Artist Group represents 3% of the nominees, including 2 Chainz and Bino Rideaux .
Cara Louis Group also has 3%, with artists like Bryson Tiller, Ice Spice, and GloRilla.
Sports agency Klutch Sports Group represents 3%, featuring athletes A’ja Wilson, Jalen Hurts, and LeBron James.
A variety of other agencies and talents fully represented by their management teams make up the remaining 31%.
It’s important to note that we excluded the “Viewers Choice Best International Act” category and four other nominees for whom we did not have data from our analysis.
