Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy was born in 1991 and is a young Nigerian singer and songwriter who specialises in Nigerian reggae-dancehall music. With a career that began with the release of a single called Like To Party in 2012, he shot to fame quickly, and became known for his high energy and natural talent.
With six albums released to date, the most famous is by far 2013’s LIFE- Leaving an Impact for Eternity. Produced by Leriq, the album features collaborations with Olamide, Reminisce and Wizkid. With two Nigeria Entertainment Awards under his belt and an MTV Africa Music Award won in 2014, he has also been nominated for multiple awards at The Headies, including nominations for Album of the year and Next Rated.
