Kendall Brown, the 22-year-old NBA G League forward, has signed with Gersh Basketball, a division of Gersh Sports, for on-field representation. Deirunas Visockas will be handling Brown’s representation at the agency.
Brown, a McDonald’s All-American out of Baylor, was selected 48th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves before being traded to the Indiana Pacers.
He has since had stints with the Brooklyn Nets on a two-way contract in 2024–25, putting up 16.1 points per game on 57% shooting with the Long Island Nets in the G League.
He then signed with the Boston Celtics for the 2025 training camp before landing with the Maine Celtics, where he set a career-high 6 steals in a January 2026 G League game.
On the Gersh Basketball side, the division, formerly known as Tandem before merging with Gersh, has been on an active signing streak. In addition to Brown, the agency recently brought on Malaki Branham for basketball representation and Keyshawn Hall for on-field representation.
Visockas has also been active across his client roster, recently confirming Jeremy Sochan‘s move to the New York Knicks and Akoldah Gak’s Exhibit 10 deal with the Washington Wizards.
Takeaways
This move makes a lot of sense for Brown at this stage of his career. He’s a high-upside athlete who has never quite found a permanent NBA home, but his G League numbers show he can play at a high level when given minutes.
Linking up with Deirunas Visockas, who has shown a clear ability to place clients with competitive NBA rosters quickly, could be the push Brown needs to land a proper two-way or roster deal heading into the 2026–27 season.
Gersh Basketball’s momentum is also hard to ignore. The agency is stacking a serious portfolio of young NBA-caliber talent, and this signing fits their pattern of targeting developmental players with real upside.
Can Deirunas Visockas leverage his NBA connections to get Kendall Brown a stable two-way or roster spot for 2026–27? Does Brown’s elite athleticism and defensive versatility make him a fit for a contending team looking for depth?
