Sydney electronic producer Yes Boone, formerly known simply as Boone, has signed with Warner Music Australasia, which is teaming with Warner Records in the US to release his music globally.
He was presented to industry and media guests Thursday night (Aug. 6) at Warner’s “Listen Up” showcase at The Press in central Sydney, closing the night with a DJ set of his own material.
“Our latest signing, we’re going to take him to the world,” Dan Rosen, president of Warner Music Australasia and Southeast Asia, told the room.
The deal caps a breakout run. Yes Boone was shortlisted for Breakthrough Independent Artist of the Year at the 2026 AIR Awards in Adelaide, and last year landed his single “All I Really Want” at No. 9 on AIR’s Independent Singles Chart while cracking ARIA’s Top 20. He’s a festival regular, with slots at Wildlands and Ability Fest and sold-out headline shows at Liberty Hall.
The label deal follows a busy year of representation moves. In March, Yes Boone signed with ROAM for live representation across North America, South America and Europe, splitting territories between agents Erik Selz, Spencer Pinson and Jack Berg.
His AU/NZ bookings stay with Seismic Talent Agency, and his management remains with Wildfire Music Management. He counts over 500,000 monthly Spotify listeners and has earned co-signs from Diplo, Dom Dolla, and Fisher, having previously supported Odd Mob on tour.
Warner Music Australasia has been active on the signing front in 2026, having paired with Warner Records in June to sign alt-pop artist Alexandria. Thursday’s showcase also featured Warner’s international signees Emei and Erin LeCount, plus ARIA-winning soul artist BOY SODA.
