Celebrity Name:Derek Jeter, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joe Burrow
Brand:Arena Club
Deal Type:National Ad Campaign / Brand Ambassadors ("The Chase")
Announced:August 6, 2026
  • Derek Jeter, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joe Burrow star in Arena Club's new national campaign, "The Chase," which debuted August 6, 2026.
  • Directed by Fleur Fortune and created with agency Orchard, the spot turns "chasing a card" into a real foot chase through Miami.
  • Arena Club will hide 40 "Golden Slabs" in Slab Packs from September through December, giving finders entries to win a football-weekend trip to Los Angeles in February 2027.
  • This is the first Arena Club campaign built around multiple athletes rather than co-founder Jeter alone, reaching baseball, basketball, and football fan bases in one spot.

Derek Jeter, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joe Burrow are the new faces of Arena Club’s biggest ad yet, and the spot literally chases them through Miami.

“The Chase” debuted August 6, 2026, giving the sports-collectibles marketplace a star from three major U.S. leagues in one national commercial. Developed with creative agency Orchard and directed by Fleur Fortune, the ad opens with a collector spotting Jeter buying a hot dog.

He bolts through kitchens and pushes carts before the fan finally catches him in a restaurant. Antetokounmpo is picked up by a second pursuer, and the spot ends with that fan spotting Burrow.

“Every collector knows the feeling of the chase, the anticipation, the discovery and the possibility that the next pack could hold something incredible,” Arena Club CEO and co-founder Brian Lee said. “Bringing Derek, Giannis and Joe together felt like the perfect way to bring that feeling to life.”

Jeter co-founded Arena Club and has fronted its ads since the 2025 “Opening Day” spot. This is the first time the brand has built a campaign around multiple athletes instead of Jeter alone, adding Antetokounmpo (Miami Heat) and Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals).

The push extends past the commercial: starting in September, Arena Club will seed 40 “Golden Slabs” into Slab Packs through December, 10 a month, entering finders for an “ultimate football weekend” trip to Los Angeles in February 2027.

Both guest stars arrive mid-stream on other 2026 deals. In June, Antetokounmpo was named Superpower’s first global brand ambassador and took an equity stake in the startup, adding to his stakes in IM8 and Gopuff.

That same month, Burrow became the launch athlete for BODYARMOR’s new BODYARMOR FIT drink, extending his long-running tie to the Coca-Cola-owned brand. Neither had previously worked with Arena Club.

Jeter, by contrast, has repped the company since co-founding it, alongside current deals with American Family Insurance and BetMGM.

Arena Club isn’t the only company leaning on athletes and pop culture to sell collectibles this year; Topps signed reggaeton star Yandel for an exclusive MLB trading-card collaboration, another sign of how far the hobby has stretched beyond the card aisle.

Takeaways

Arena Club is spending its star power carefully, pairing each athlete to the fan base he already commands rather than stacking names for their own sake.

The Golden Slabs mechanic also turns a TV spot into an actual reason to buy packs, giving the campaign a commercial payoff beyond brand awareness.

And with Antetokounmpo and Burrow both juggling active 2026 deals elsewhere, it’s a reminder of how much bandwidth top athletes now have for parallel endorsements.

Does pairing three athletes from three different sports multiply an ad’s impact, or spread it too thin? Will Arena Club keep expanding “The Chase” to other sports and athletes down the line?
