  • Nashville-based music industry professional Hannah McElroy has joined boutique firm Another Management Company as a day-to-day manager.
  • McElroy brings cross-genre experience to AMC, having previously worked campaigns for Jelly Roll, Joe Nichols, and LANCO across country, indie, and alternative.
  • She will manage a roster that includes indie artist Youth Lagoon.
  • The hire is part of a broader AMC expansion that also brought aboard Allison Crutchfield, former A&R head at Anti- Records.

Hannah McElroy has been named a Nashville-based day-to-day manager at Another Management Company, the boutique firm founded in 2017 by Reynold Jaffe and Eric Dimenstein.

She will support a growing roster that includes indie artist Youth Lagoon, best known for the critically lauded album Heaven Is a Junkyard, and emerging act Twisted Teens.

McElroy launched her management career at Left Right Management, where she worked alongside John Meneilly, Jason King, and Alex Goodman on acts including Drew Baldridge.

She later served as a digital strategist at both Venture Music and iHeartMedia, building campaigns for artists spanning multiple genres, including Jelly Roll, Joe Nichols, and LANCO.

Much like Trey Witter’s move to ColorCreative and Dru Bass’ transition from WME to Independent Artist Group, McElroy’s signing reflects a wider trend of digital-savvy talent gravitating toward boutique management firms built around artist development rather than volume.

AMC’s co-founder Dimenstein also serves as president of Ground Control Touring, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The firm simultaneously announced the addition of Allison Crutchfield, former head of A&R at ANTI- Records, where she signed acclaimed acts including Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, and Death Cab for Cutie.

Takeaways

This move is worth watching for a few reasons. McElroy isn’t just a manager, she’s a digital strategist who has built artist audiences from the ground up across country, indie, and alternative lanes. That kind of hybrid skill set is exactly what boutique firms like AMC are competing to lock down right now.

Combined with Crutchfield’s A&R pedigree from ANTI- Records, AMC has quietly stacked one of the more well-rounded management benches in the independent space.

Youth Lagoon’s previous management void (having parted ways with Section1) also makes this placement particularly significant, it’s a vote of confidence in both McElroy and the direction the Trevor Powers project is heading.

Does McElroy’s digital strategy background give AMC a meaningful edge when it comes to breaking artists in today’s algorithm-driven music landscape? Could McElroy’s deep Nashville connections help AMC expand its country and Americana footprint alongside its indie base?
