Under Armour has unveiled Rest Less, its newest Sportswear campaign, fronted by Ferran Torres, Fermín López and Ollie Watkins. Released July 21, 2026, the film shifts the lens away from competition and imagines athletes finally off the clock.

Set inside the fictional five-star Hotel Armouré, the campaign follows a cast who check in but never fully switch off. “It feels different from the usual sports campaign and shows another side of athletes beyond competition,” Torres said. Watkins added the shoot let him show “a different side of me off the pitch.”

The timing suits Torres well. Days earlier, he scored the extra-time winner as Spain beat Argentina to lift the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He’s fronted Under Armour campaigns since signing with the brand in December 2024. López, a UA athlete since January 2024, and Watkins, on the roster since 2020, round out the football contingent; Watkins also currently endorses Boots, BYD and Ted Baker.

The trio has fronted group UA campaigns before: Torres and Watkins joined Antonio Rüdiger for the 424 x Under Armour capsule, while Torres also teamed with Ibrahima Konaté for the brand’s For Pressure Lovers campaign.

Rest Less also features artist Rilès, social creator Sharky, and actor Nick Mohammed. The FW26 collection shown in the campaign, including the new UA Sola footwear, is now available at UA.com.

Takeaways

Under Armour keeps leaning into “athlete as cultural figure” rather than just “athlete as competitor”; pairing football’s biggest current headline (a World Cup-winning goal) with a lifestyle push shows how quickly brands can turn a career-defining moment into marketing momentum.

This isn’t a new signing announcement; it’s UA activating athletes already on its books, which tends to be cheaper and lower-risk than fresh deals, while still feeling newsy thanks to Torres’s timing.

With Torres, López, and Watkins all repeat faces in UA group campaigns, is the brand building a recognizable “ensemble” the way some brands use recurring casts? Does mixing footballers with a musician, a social creator, and an actor actually reach new audiences, or does it dilute the football-first appeal for UA’s core buyers?
