Adult DVD, the Leeds-based dance-punk six-piece, has signed with Ground Control Touring for live music and touring representation across North America and South America. Agent Lindsay Ibberson will spearhead the deal at GCT.
For the rest of the world (Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe/UK, the Middle East, and New Zealand), ROAM agents Caitlin-Finn Ballard and Sarah Joy continue to handle touring duties.
Ballard had previously represented Adult DVD at ATC Live before it merged with Arrival Artists to form ROAM in September 2025. Sarah Brooksbank Management continues in place on management.
The signing lands at a pivotal moment for the band. After a packed 2025 run that included Glastonbury, Green Man, and End of the Road, Adult DVD kicked off 2026 with a label deal at legendary indie imprint Fat Possum Records and released “Real Tree Lee,” which landed on the BBC 6 Music A-List. They then made their US live debut at SXSW and completed a well-received Japan tour.
A summer run of UK/EU festivals, Green Man and Latitude among them, plus an autumn headline tour round out a loaded year.
GCT has been building momentum in the alternative space, recently adding UK acts like Mage Tears and Jejune to its worldwide roster, making Adult DVD a natural fit.
Takeaways
Adult DVD is exactly the kind of act that makes a GCT signing make sense: a scrappy, high-energy UK band with the live show to back up the hype, now stepping into North and South American markets for the first time with serious agency firepower behind them.
Pairing GCT’s indie-alternative credibility in the Americas with ROAM’s deep European and global network creates a well-balanced, full-circle worldwide deal.
With Fat Possum now on the label side and Sarah Brooksbank’s management locked in, the infrastructure around this band is starting to look very serious.
The bigger question is timing. Adult DVD are coming off SXSW buzz, a Japan debut, and a BBC A-List record; these are the exact conditions a North American booking agency needs to start building real traction stateside.
Does a GCT signing accelerate Adult DVD’s shot at US festival slots, think Pitchfork, Primavera Sound US, or even a Coachella future? Is 2026 the year Adult DVD breaks beyond UK cult status into genuine transatlantic recognition?
