West London instrumental four-piece Long Distance Runner has signed with ROAM for live music and touring representation worldwide, excluding North America. Agent Steve Taylor is leading the deal. The band continues with Sounds Management for artist management.
Formed by Ned Prevezer, Joe Bourdier, James Stirrat, and Maurice Talbot, Long Distance Runner have spent close to two years working London’s grassroots circuit with wordless, cinematic instrumental sets that blend post-rock with noise and film-score textures.
They sold out The George Tavern at only their sixth-ever gig, a show the venue named among its gigs of the year, then followed it with a month-long residency at Shoreditch’s Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes.
The band has shared stages with ladylike, Spanish Horses, and Roscoe Roscoe, and was tapped for Rough Trade East’s “Ones to Watch” series, all before releasing a single note online.
That changed in July, when the band released their debut single, “Zero,” recorded with producer Tom Kellett (Moreish Idols, Pearl2). Ned Prevezer has described the track as an accidental fan favourite, born from improvising to fill time at the band’s first-ever show.
Two more singles are due out this summer, alongside a debut record recorded at Dan Carey’s Speedy Wunderground studio, the label behind acts like Black Midi and Squid.
The deal adds Long Distance Runner to a growing list of UK acts ROAM has signed in 2026 for similar worldwide-excluding-North-America arrangements, including South London post-punk band Dry Cleaning, London art-punk six-piece Man/Woman/Chainsaw, and London jazz-fusion project TOAST CLUB.
