Squid is a pop quintet from London that was formed in Brighton. Their first track called Perfect Teeth was released in 2016. Followed by their debut EP, Lino, which was released a year later in 2017. After these successes, the label, Speedy Wunderground, signed them at the start of their growing fame.
The band members are Louis Borlase on Guitar, Ollie Judge on vocals, Laurie Nankivell on Bass, Author Leadbetter Cello and Synthesizers, and Anton Pearson on Guitar as well. Squid has well over 175 000 monthly listeners on Spotify with the majority of listeners being from England. Their most well-known song Houseplants sits at over 2 million listens. They have collaborated with over 30 people including Martha Skye Murphy.
Squid has performed on various TV shows including 3Voor12 - their performance has over 82,000 views on TikTok.
