Jacob Elordi Named Face of Chanel’s ‘Bleu de Chanel’ Campaign

Celebrity Name:Jacob Elordi
Brand:Chanel
Deal Type:Brand Ambassadorship — Fragrance Campaign
Announced:April 23, 2026
  • Jacob Elordi is the new global face of Bleu de Chanel, replacing Timothée Chalamet who held the role since 2023.
  • The campaign, titled Bleu de Chanel L'Exclusif and shot by photographer Karim Sadli, is set to officially debut in May 2026.
  • This is Elordi's second Chanel collaboration. He previously starred opposite Margot Robbie in the 2024 See You at 5 Chanel No. 5 short film directed by Luca Guadagnino.
  • Elordi arrives at Chanel off a career-high stretch that includes an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Frankenstein and the return of Euphoria Season 3 (April 12, 2026).

Jacob Elordi is officially Chanel’s newest fragrance ambassador. The Australian actor has been named the global face of Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif, the luxury house announced on April 23, 2026. He steps into a role previously held by Timothée Chalamet and, before him, the late Gaspard Ulliel.

The appointment builds on an already-growing relationship between Elordi and the house. He first worked with Chanel in 2024 alongside Margot Robbie in the Guadagnino-directed See You at 5 campaign for Chanel No. 5.

Elordi joins a rapidly expanding Chanel men’s roster. Just days prior, Pedro Pascal was named a Chanel House Ambassador, and A$AP Rocky stepped into a similar role in 2025.

This push by the house into men’s fashion and fragrance was further highlighted by the star-studded Chanel eyewear campaign featuring Nicole Kidman, G-Dragon, and Pedro Pascal.

Beyond Chanel, Elordi has maintained luxury ties with Bottega Veneta since 2024. The campaign visual, photographed by Karim Sadli, drops in May 2026.

Takeaways

This move is far more than a fragrance deal, it’s a signal of where Chanel is headed under creative director Matthieu Blazy. By anchoring Bleu de Chanel to Elordi, an actor equally at home in prestige arthouse films and Gen Z–driven cultural conversations, the house is threading a needle between old-world elegance and modern magnetism.

The campaign is also a smart bet timed perfectly: with Euphoria Season 3 back on screens and Wuthering Heights on the horizon, Elordi’s cultural moment is peaking right now.

What’s especially notable is the continuity of the Chanel-Elordi relationship. Brands don’t always convert campaign talent into ambassadors, but Chanel clearly saw something worth investing in since that See You at 5 set. That kind of deliberate relationship-building is rare, and it shows.

Does Elordi’s dual positioning as a critical darling and a mainstream star make him the smartest luxury fragrance pick of 2026? With Pascal, A$AP Rocky, and now Elordi on board, is Chanel building the most powerful men’s brand roster in fashion right now?
