Emo-rock icons Dashboard Confessional have signed with Q Prime for management. The band continues to be represented by United Talent Agency for North American bookings and by Wasserman for Europe. Their PR is handled by Big Hassle Media in the U.S. and Good as Gold Group in Europe and the UK.
Career Highlights: Formed in 1999 by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional became a defining voice of the early 2000s emo and alternative rock movement. Known for their introspective lyrics and acoustic-driven sound, the band quickly gained a loyal fanbase with the release of their debut album The Swiss Army Romance in 2000.
Their follow-up albums, The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (2001) and A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar (2003), solidified their status as emo-rock pioneers, with hits like Screaming Infidelities and Hands Down becoming anthems for a generation. Screaming Infidelities earned the band an MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist in 2002.
Over the years, Dashboard Confessional has continued to evolve while maintaining their signature emotional depth and acoustic sensibility. In 2018, they released their seventh studio album, Crooked Shadows, which was met with critical acclaim and marked their return to the music scene after a lengthy hiatus. Their influence continues to resonate, as they’ve inspired countless artists in the alternative and emo genres.
With their new management team at Q Prime, Dashboard Confessional is poised for continued success as they expand their legacy and connect with new generations of fans.
