Alfie Williams, the 15-year-old British breakout star of the 28 Years Later franchise, has signed with The Gersh Agency for US representation in Film and TV.

Agents Josh Brandis and Mark Herzberg will oversee his theatrical career stateside, following what Gersh called a “highly competitive situation involving all major agencies.”

Williams burst onto the scene as Spike in Danny Boyle’s long-awaited zombie sequel 28 Years Later (2025), starring opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes. He quickly reprised his role in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026), directed by Nia DaCosta, opposite Jack O’Connell.

The back-to-back films earned him the London Film Critics’ Circle Young British/Irish Performer of the Year award and a Digital Spy Reader Award for Best British Rising Star.

He also has the supernatural thriller Banquet, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, currently in post-production alongside Meghann Fahy and Corey Mylchreest.

Prior to the Gersh signing, Williams was represented exclusively by Independent Talent Group in the UK, the same firm that first took him on after his early short film work alongside Stephen Graham. He continues with ITG for UK representation and retains Satellite 414 for all publicity.

Gersh, which has been on an active signing streak, adding Wednesday star Hunter Doohan and actress Lake Bell, continues to position itself as a serious alternative to the Big Three agencies.

Takeaways

Alfie Williams landing at Gersh after a competitive fight involving all major agencies says everything about where his stock sits in Hollywood right now.

At just 15, he’s already a two-film franchise lead with award recognition and a major thriller in the pipeline, that’s a career trajectory most adult actors spend years chasing. Gersh’s move is calculated: they’re locking in a generational talent before the bidding wars get even bigger.

Could Banquet be the film that shows Williams’ range beyond the horror-thriller lane and opens him up to prestige drama? How much does landing the right US agency at 15 shape the kinds of roles a young British actor gets offered in Hollywood, and could this shift Williams from “franchise star” to “Oscar conversation” territory sooner than expected?
