Global talent powerhouse WME announced it has officially signed renowned Colombian singer-songwriter Fonseca for worldwide representation. The new deal focuses entirely on live music and touring as the artist expands his international reach.

Fonseca first broke onto the music scene with his debut album in 2002 and gained massive international recognition with his 2005 record Corazón and the hit single “Te Mando Flores.”

Over his career, he has built a highly recognizable signature style blending tropical, pop, and folkloric sounds. This distinctive musical identity was on display during his recent TROPICALIA Tour, which successfully concluded with a sold-out performance on April 8 at the legendary Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.

Following that success, Fonseca released his eleventh studio album, Antes Que El Tiempo Se Vaya, in April 2026. To promote his new music, he will kick off a stadium tour on October 24 with a major concert at Estadio El Campín in his hometown of Bogotá.

With 9 Latin GRAMMY wins, 31 Latin GRAMMY nominations, and three GRAMMY nods, Fonseca remains one of Latin music’s most consistent global voices.

Off stage, Fonseca founded Fundación Gratitud in 2017, expanding arts education for youth in vulnerable communities, and has backed initiatives including La Primera Piedra, IDB-linked projects, and Marc Anthony’s Maestro Cares Foundation Gala.

He continues to be managed by Magnus Media and handled for press by 11:11 Public Relations, keeping the rest of his team intact.

The move fits a pattern of WME doubling down on global Latin talent, following recent signings like Dani Barranco and Ado, alongside genre-spanning additions like TroyBoi.

Takeaways

This signing marks a notable homecoming for Fonseca, who was previously represented by WME early in his international breakout years from 2005 to 2013 before returning to the agency.

A homecoming this clean rarely happens by accident. Fonseca isn’t just picking up where he left off; he’s walking back into WME at a moment of real career momentum, with a new album, a stadium tour, and nearly a decade of runway between his last stint and this one.

Could this reunion open doors to bigger crossover opportunities outside Latin America? What does WME’s renewed push into Latin music signal about where the genre is heading commercially? How much of Fonseca’s return is about scale versus simply trusted relationships?
