Sydney Sweeney has a new drink order, and now everyone else can try it too. The actress has partnered with Erewhon to launch the limited-edition “Blueberry Syrn” Smoothie, a $22 blend inspired by her regular breakfast pick at the Los Angeles grocery chain.
The drink leans into a blueberry-muffin flavor, blending organic almond milk, blueberries, açaí, banana and almond butter with banana water, then stacking in hair vitamins, vanilla bone broth protein and Erewhon’s own organic A2 whey protein. It’s finished with pitaya and blue spirulina whipped creams and a garnish of organic vegan coconut “bacon.”
A companion video shows Sweeney building the smoothie herself, gathering ingredients around the store before mixing it behind the counter. She announced the partnership on Instagram Stories on August 6.
A portion of proceeds benefits Pink Ribbon Good, a nonprofit that provides meals, rides to treatment and peer support to people affected by breast and gynecological cancers.
The drop puts Sweeney into a celebrity-marketing format Erewhon has turned into a cultural fixture. Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze Skin smoothie helped kick off the genre and became one of the chain’s biggest viral hits, and Kendall Jenner’s Peachy smoothie followed, alongside collaborations with Bella Hadid, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Sofia Richie Grainge, and Kacey Musgraves.
KATSEYE unveiled its cherry-forward “Gabriela” smoothie with Erewhon in February, tying proceeds to the Malala Fund. This marks Sweeney’s first partnership with the retailer.
It’s also one of several moves keeping Sweeney in headlines this month. Just three days earlier, her own lingerie label Syrn unveiled a new “Romantic” collection, and in July she fronted American Eagle’s “Low-Rise Season” denim campaign alongside country singer Ella Langley. Her active endorsement slate also includes Armani Beauty, Laneige, Miu Miu, Ford and Samsung.
Takeaways:
Sweeney didn’t need to reinvent the celebrity-smoothie playbook; she just showed up with a genuinely personal story: this is reportedly the drink she already orders.
That authenticity, paired with a cause tied to women’s health, gives “Blueberry Syrn” a shot at outlasting the usual short hype cycle these drinks tend to run on.
It’s also a reminder of how much ground Sweeney is covering at once. In the same week, she’s fronting a smoothie, unveiling lingerie, and repping a denim campaign; she’s leaning into the same “brand of one” strategy stars like Bieber have used to build real business value beyond acting.
Does the “this is my actual order” angle make Sweeney’s smoothie feel more authentic than past Erewhon collabs? With so many celebrity smoothies already on the menu, is the format losing novelty, or still an easy cultural win?
