Kendall Jenner first signed with L’Oréal Paris in July 2023, steadily expanding her role with the French cosmetics giant across flagship rollouts for the Infallible Matte Resistance liquid lipstick, Panorama Mascara, and a collaborative Mugler capsule.

Earlier this year, she joined fellow ambassador Simone Ashley for L’Oréal Paris’ Oscars-Night campaign celebrating The Devil Wears Prada 2, which debuted during the 98th Academy Awards telecast.

Jenner is also set to return to the runway for the brand’s annual Le Défilé showcase during Paris Fashion Week later this month.

L’Oréal Paris holds a rich history of partnering with influential cultural figures. Over the decades, the company’s ambassador roster has featured acclaimed stars such as Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet, and Elle Fanning.

Managed by Kris Jenner, 818 Tequila founder Kendall Jenner continues to broaden her commercial footprint. For Fall 2026, she teamed up with Donna Karan for a Manhattan street shoot lensed by Mert Alas, building on her June appointment as Korean skincare label ANUA’s first-ever global ambassador.

She also maintains major commercial relationships with Tory Burch, Adidas Originals, and Alo Yoga, alongside serving as creative director for luxury e-tailer FWRD.

Takeaways

Kendall Jenner’s ongoing work with L’Oréal Paris highlights how heritage cosmetic brands defend their market leadership against fast-growing, creator-founded makeup lines.

Rather than relying exclusively on short-term digital influencer drops, legacy houses are locking in established supermodels who bridge runway credibility with unmatched digital reach.

For Jenner, maintaining multi-year contracts with mass-market leaders alongside high-end heritage fashion houses shows that top-tier models no longer need to choose between commercial scale and luxury prestige.

How do legacy drugstore brands keep long-term ambassador campaigns engaging as consumer trends move faster online? Will major beauty brands continue prioritizing multi-year ambassadorships over one-off, creator-led product collaborations?
