Visa is bringing its cards to Maroon 5’s stage. On August 4, 2026, the global payments company confirmed it will serve as the Official Payment Partner for the Maroon 5 Asia 2027 Tour, giving Visa cardholders across the region first crack at tickets to see the pop-rock band live.

The tour touches seven Asia Pacific markets, opening in Taiwan on January 24, 2027, and closing in Singapore on February 12, 2027.

Visa cardholders in the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand get early access through Visa Presales, and Visa Infinite cardholders move to the front of that line before the presale opens more broadly. Visa’s issuing bank partners will also run giveaways for tickets and signed merchandise throughout the run.

Danielle Jin, Visa’s Chief Marketing Officer for Asia Pacific, called Maroon 5 “a powerful example of how music connects cultures, backgrounds, and generations,” pointing to the band’s two-decade run shaping what fans listen to and travel for.

The deal leans on Visa’s own data: its Global Travel Intentions 2026 study found nearly two-thirds of respondents plan to travel for a concert tour, with cards remaining their preferred way to pay.

This isn’t Visa’s first time backing a tour through Asia. The brand has run similar payment partnerships for The Weeknd‘s Asia leg of the After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour, the BTS World Tour “Arirang,” and South Korea’s MAMA Awards.

Its music slate also includes Laufey, who stars in bespoke travel-themed films for Visa’s brand channels, and Anderson .Paak, who fronted a music-led Visa brand campaign earlier this year.

The Maroon 5 deal marks the band’s first known tie-up with the payments giant; their prior brand endorsements have run through Coca-Cola and Hyundai, spanning beverage and auto rather than financial services.

For Maroon 5, the tour news lands amid a busy stretch. The band released its eighth studio album, “Love Is Like,” in August 2025, followed by the new single “Heroine” in May 2026, and headlined BST Hyde Park in London alongside OneRepublic that July.

Takeaways

Visa isn’t just sponsoring a tour; it’s building a full music-marketing playbook across Asia Pacific, stacking Maroon 5 alongside The Weeknd, BTS, Laufey, and the MAMA Awards in the space of about a year.

That’s a clear bet that fans will swipe a Visa card to travel for a show before they’ll swipe it for almost anything else.

For Maroon 5, it’s also a signal: after a Vegas residency wrap, a fresh album, and a new single, the band is leaning hard into international touring rather than slowing down.

Does tying ticket presale access to a specific card change how fans plan (or afford) concert travel? Could this partnership push other legacy pop acts to court payment brands?
