Kylie Jenner just gave her fans permission to stop committing to one “signature scent.” On July 30, Kylie Jenner and her brand Kylie Cosmetics launched Mood Stones, a three-piece fragrance collection that debuted online first, with a wider release at Ulta Beauty following on August 2.

The three scents were each created to reflect a different mood rather than one shared fragrance identity, launching through Kylie Cosmetics before arriving at Ulta Beauty days later.

The trio centers on Cashmere Muse, a floral musk built for calm mornings, with notes of bergamot accord, mandarin blossom, ylang ylang oil, frangipani accord, tonka absolute, and salted musk.

Blush Wood leans romantic and woody, opening with a powdery rose accord balanced by juicy apple, then honeysuckle and creamy gardenia before a vanilla absolute and cedarwood base. Velvet Brew is the boldest of the three, a “bold ambery spice scent” with notes of hazelnut, orange blossom, and coffee.

Each bottle is shaped like a smoothed stone, with texture signaling mood: Cashmere Muse comes in a glossy bottle with a matte cap, Blush Wood in a frosted bottle with a glossy cap, and Velvet Brew in an all-glossy finish. Bottles run $68 apiece, available through Kylie Cosmetics for $68 USD per bottle, with a 1.6 fl. oz. bottle and a travel pen size both offered.

Jenner tied the launch to her own multi-hyphenate identity: “I really wanted to create these as an embodiment of my versatility,” Jenner said in a statement. Mood Stones follows her Cosmic line, after Cosmic Kylie Jenner Intense, the third installment in the Cosmic line, launched in January 2026.

Beyond fragrance, Jenner’s 2026 has stayed busy across categories. She’s aligned with Acne Studios and Alo, and her most talked-about brand move outside beauty was co-designing Meta’s new AI smart glasses collection.

On the campaign side, she starred in SKIMS’ Everyday Cotton campaign in February 2026 and fronted Alo’s new sports collection earlier this year, and she even stepped into acting, making her acting debut in Charli XCX‘s The Moment, which released January 30, 2026.

The drop caps a packed few weeks for Jenner, who also unveiled the KHY x Frankies Bikinis “Fever Dream” swim capsule, rolled out the pink-hued King Kylie Collection with Dunkin’, and fronted a viral Kylie Cosmetics face-product campaign this summer.

Takeaways

Kylie isn’t just selling perfume here; she’s selling a fragrance wardrobe. Instead of asking fans to pick one identity, Mood Stones bets that people want to rotate scents the way they rotate outfits, which is a smart hedge against fragrance fatigue in a crowded celebrity-beauty market.

The $68 price point keeps it in “accessible luxury” territory: cheap enough to buy all three, expensive enough to still feel like a treat.

And the timing is no accident: this drop lands right as Kylie Cosmetics leans into its 10th anniversary, stacking swimwear, coffee, and now scent into one relentless summer of brand activity.

Will shoppers actually rotate all three scents, or gravitate to one “main character” bottle? With Cosmic already established in the Kylie Cosmetics fragrance wall, can Mood Stones carve out its own lasting space? Could the “fragrance wardrobe” concept become a repeatable playbook for other celebrity beauty lines?
