Little Caesars has teamed up with Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff to headline a new national campaign celebrating the return of Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix. The fan-favorite meal combo returns nationwide at $4.99 from September 7 through November 1, 2026.

Served Hot-N-Ready between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and available online anytime, each box features two slices of Detroit-Style Deep Dish pizza (Pepperoni or Cheese), four pieces of Italian Cheese Bread, and Crazy Sauce for dipping.

The campaign unites two Motor City favorites: football and deep-dish pizza. Goff has become a franchise cornerstone in Detroit. He led the Lions to the NFC Championship Game in 2024 and signed a four-year, $212 million extension with $170 million guaranteed, keeping him under contract through the 2028 season.

Off the field, Goff married model Christen Harper in 2024, and his endorsement portfolio includes longtime partnerships with Nike and Abercrombie & Fitch.

The rollout expands Goff’s relationship with Little Caesars after he teamed with Justin Jefferson and George Kittle in August to front the chain’s 2026 NFL campaign.

While Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix initially debuted in January alongside Lions teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown, Goff takes the solo spotlight for its fall return, continuing a brand roster that has also featured Matthew Stafford and Cameron Jordan.

Goff’s new commercial lands amid an active wave of football marketing. Pro stars are expanding into creative product campaigns, seen when Peyton Manning, George Kittle, and Shane Gillis debuted Bud Light’s Can-O-Flage campaign and when Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, and Micah Parsons fronted New Era’s 2026 NFL Sidelines Collection.

Takeaways

Little Caesars is executing a sharp, city-centric marketing strategy by pairing Jared Goff with Detroit-style pizza. While broad NFL kickoff ads often rely on ensemble casts across multiple franchises, giving Goff a dedicated campaign connects a local sports icon with the brand’s signature regional crust.

Goff’s turnaround of the Lions gives the partnership genuine community authenticity that typical celebrity sponsorships lack. Furthermore, spotlighting a sub-$5 price point during peak football season lets Little Caesars capture solo diners, students, and lunch crowds without cannibalizing higher-margin full-size orders.

Does featuring Jared Goff solo create stronger consumer loyalty in Michigan and the Midwest than ensemble athlete commercials? Will competitor pizza chains respond with their own sub-$5 single-serve combos to capture lunch and solo game-day traffic?
