Innovative Artists Entertainment has hired talent agent Brian Sacripanti from Buchwald. He joins the Talent department at Innovative’s Los Angeles offices.

Sacripanti brings a decade of industry experience to his new role. He launched his career in 2016 as an assistant at management firm Grandview before transitioning to A3 Artists Agency, where he earned a promotion to agent. When A3 shut down in February 2024, he landed at Buchwald, continuing to build his client roster.

His first-ever industry foothold was an internship in the Comedy Development department at ABC. He holds a degree from UC Berkeley.

Innovative President Scott Harris praised the hire, pointing to the agency’s culture and its fully integrated approach to client representation as a draw for Sacripanti’s move.

The news comes alongside an internal promotion. Celine Biancardi, a four-year Innovative staffer, was simultaneously elevated to agent in the same Talent department.

This move mirrors the broader momentum at the agency, which entered a minority investment partnership with Coral Tree Partners in early 2025 and has been actively expanding its agent ranks.

Derek Blum’s recent landing at Arise Artists Agency and Sam Rubin’s pivot away from Innovative itself to Artists Representatives reflects an industry-wide reshuffling of mid-tier agency talent.

Takeaways

Sacripanti’s move to Innovative Artists Entertainment is more than just a job change, it’s the latest chapter in a career that has been defined by navigating disruption. After A3’s collapse, he didn’t skip a beat, landing at Buchwald and continuing to grow his roster.

Now stepping into one of the industry’s most client-focused boutique agencies, backed by fresh private investment and a clear growth agenda, Sacripanti arrives at a shop that’s actively building, not just maintaining.

For agents coming from A3, Buchwald, and other mid-market firms, Innovative is clearly positioning itself as the destination. This hire signals the agency is doubling down on talent representation muscle, not just signing high-profile clients, but investing in the agents who build those relationships day to day.

With Innovative Artists backed by Coral Tree Partners and actively hiring, how long before they’re considered a true rival to the mid-tier’s biggest names? Could the double announcement, a hire and an internal promotion in the same department on the same day, signal a deeper structural expansion of Innovative’s Talent division?
