  • Alicia Keys has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for worldwide live music and touring representation, with Tony Goldring as her agent.
  • The move reunites Keys with Goldring, who oversaw her touring business during his 25-year run at William Morris Endeavor (WME) before jumping to CAA in January 2026.
  • Keys stays with Roc Nation for management and keeps her existing publicity team.
  • The signing follows a career-high stretch for Keys, including two Tony Awards and a 2025 Grammy for her Broadway musical Hell's Kitchen.

Alicia Keys has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for worldwide representation in live music and touring. Agent Tony Goldring will now handle her bookings.

The deal is effectively a reunion. Goldring spent 25 years at William Morris Endeavor (WME) as the agency’s head of international touring, where his roster included Rihanna, Shakira, Justin Timberlake, and Keys herself. He left WME for CAA in January 2026 to help scale the agency’s global touring strategy.

Now, roughly seven months later, Keys has followed him over, closing out her run with Keith Sarkisian, who had picked up her WME booking business after Goldring’s exit.

The timing lines up with one of the busiest stretches of Keys’ career. The 17-time Grammy winner has sold more than 65 million records and racked up over 5 billion streams since her 2001 debut, Songs in A Minor.

Her Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen, inspired by her upbringing in Manhattan, opened at the Shubert Theater in April 2024 and went on to earn 13 Tony nominations, two wins, and the 2025 Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.

Keys’ last full arena tour ran through summer 2023, with stops at Barclays Center and the Kia Forum. Per a statement tied to the CAA news, she has an “exciting slate of new projects on the horizon.”

CAA’s touring division has stayed active in R&B and pop this year. The agency recently signed Bebe Rexha for worldwide representation off the back of her visual album Dirty Blonde, brought on Ari Lennox for worldwide touring representation following her Vacancy rollout, and added MŌRIAH for representation spanning music, acting, and Latin music.

On the management side, Keys continues with Roc Nation, and her publicity team (Full Coverage Communications and Edge Publicity) stays in place as well.

Takeaways

This isn’t a cold pitch; it’s a trusted relationship following its agent. Goldring already knew Keys’ touring business inside out from his WME days, so this looks less like a competitive win for CAA and more like a client choosing continuity of relationship over loyalty to a letterhead.

It’s also a pattern worth watching: agents who jump agencies increasingly pull major clients with them within months, not years.

Will more of Goldring’s former WME roster (he also repped Rihanna, Shakira, and Ms. Lauryn Hill) follow him to CAA? Does this signal a new arena or stadium tour on the horizon, her first since 2023?
