Gentle Monster is moving into wearable tech, and it’s leaning on two of fashion’s most in-demand faces to introduce it.

The South Korean eyewear house revealed the second design from its debut Intelligent Eyewear collection, a square optical frame built with Google and Samsung, fronted by Alex Consani and Anok Yai.

The design follows the collection’s first look, unveiled earlier this year at Google I/O. Built into a familiar optical silhouette, the glasses pack a speaker, microphone, and camera, running on Google Gemini for hands-free voice commands, real-time translation, navigation, and photo capture. Battery life reaches up to nine hours, with the charging case adding several more full charges. Gentle Monster plans to launch the complete collection this fall.

Consani arrives fresh off fronting Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2026 campaign in February, alongside recent partnerships with Converse and Coperni.

Yai comes off being named the Fashion Awards’ Model of the Year and landing on TIME’s 2026 list of the 100 most influential people. She’s also currently the face of Gucci’s Monte Carlo campaign alongside Amelia Gray.

Just months earlier, Consani and Yai teamed up as well, fronting the debut campaign for Revolve’s namesake label, Revolve Los Angeles.

The models join a roster that includes Jennie Kim, G-Dragon, Liza Soberano, and, most recently, aespa’s Karina, who starred in the brand’s Veggie Collection campaign in May.

Takeaways

This marks Gentle Monster’s first major move outside pure fashion eyewear, planting the brand at the crossroads of Big Tech and high fashion.

Casting Consani and Yai, two models with serious 2026 momentum, signals Gentle Monster wants smart glasses to read as a fashion statement, not a gadget.

The pairing echoes their recent Revolve Los Angeles campaign, suggesting the industry is increasingly drawn to casting the same duo together to build a recognizable “look.”

Can Gentle Monster convince fashion-first shoppers that smart glasses are genuinely cool to wear? Does casting runway models over tech influencers change how AI wearables get marketed going forward?
