Los Angeles-based darkwave and synth-pop act Midi Memory has officially signed with boutique independent agency Tour Peachy for worldwide live music representation. Agent Rebekah Plattner will lead booking duties. Day-to-day management remains with 1212 Management.
Midi Memory is the solo project of Matt Messore, best known as the driving force behind dream-pop outfit Cathedral Bells, also a Tour Peachy client.
Under the Midi Memory alias, Messore leans into cold wave and darkwave territory, layering analog Roland synthesizers with driving drum machine loops.
The project released its debut album Sensory Overload in 2021, followed by the sophomore record Far Gone and Out in 2024. The 2024 single “take the life out of me” signaled a continued evolution in the project’s sound.
Currently, Midi Memory has active tour dates booked through June 2026, including shows at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood and The Paramount in Los Angeles.
This signing is a natural fit. Tour Peachy, founded in 2021 by Troy Lusk, has been one of indie music’s more active boutique agencies in 2026, recently signing Niina Soleil and Sex Mex to the roster, as previously reported.
Plattner, who came to Tour Peachy from 33 & West, has been steadily building an alternative and indie lane at the agency, making her a strong fit for Midi Memory’s growing live footprint.
Takeaways
This signing is more layered than a typical new deal. Tour Peachy now holds booking for two projects from the same artist: Cathedral Bells and Midi Memory, giving the agency real leverage in how Matt Messore’s touring calendar gets structured and marketed across both projects.
For Rebekah Plattner, this adds a credible dark alternative act to her growing book. And for Midi Memory, worldwide coverage under a single roof, with management handled separately by 1212 Management, is a clean, focused structure that positions the project well for a bigger touring push in the back half of 2026.
With Tour Peachy now booking both Cathedral Bells and Midi Memory, will we see coordinated touring strategies (co-headline runs or shared support slots) between Messore’s two projects? Rebekah Plattner is building a clear alternative/darkwave lane at Tour Peachy, who is the next signing in that space?
