Country artist Belles has signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) for worldwide representation in live music and touring. Agents Jay Williams and Lance Roberts will steer her live career at the agency.
Roberts, a 30-year industry veteran who previously held a partner role at UTA before joining WME, has quickly made a name for himself building out WME’s rising country roster, having recently signed artists including Mary Kutter and Colby Lee Swift.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska and based in Nashville since 2018, Belles (real name Kelli Belles) is signed to East Music Row Records and published by Deluge Music.
Her viral single “Crazy As Me” has racked up over 30 million social media views and more than 2 million Spotify streams. Her latest release, “Son of Jolene,” features none other than Dolly Parton and is gaining traction at country radio. ‘
This WME signing follows a similar wave of country artist deals at the agency, not unlike when Arden Jones signed with WME for representation earlier this year.
On the live front, her ongoing Songs & Stories Tour runs through early October, with dates alongside Diamond Rio, Easton Corbin, and Gene Watson, plus CMA Fest week appearances and a slot at Country Calling Festival. Her Grand Ole Opry debut is locked in for July 30.
Much like when Volkoder signed with WME for worldwide representation, this deal underscores WME’s aggressive push to lock in rising talent with strong live momentum ahead of major career milestones.
Belles will continue with Red Light Management and retains Aristo PR, the Nashville-based PR division of The AristoMedia Group, for public relations.
Takeaways
This signing is a clear signal that Belles is being positioned for a serious national touring push, and the timing couldn’t be better. A Dolly Parton collab, a Grand Ole Opry debut, and 100 million cross-platform streams don’t happen in a vacuum.
WME is betting on an artist who has already done the hard work in rooms big and small, and now they’re ready to put her in bigger ones.
Having Lance Roberts, one of Nashville’s most respected live music deal-makers, personally on the account speaks volumes about the agency’s internal conviction here.
Could the Dolly Parton collab on “Son of Jolene” be the crossover moment that takes Belles from rising star to mainstream country staple? With WME handling touring worldwide, what major festivals or arena supports could realistically be next on her routing sheet?
