  • Australian country singer-songwriter Tyla Rodrigues has signed with Vincent Torrez Management, the management arm of Nashville's Torrez Music Group, led by co-founders Emily Vincent and Alex Torrez.
  • Rodrigues' spring 2026 EP Hold On Tight produced two Australian Top 20 country airplay singles, and her Amazon Music Original collaboration with Braxton Keith has surpassed 7 million streams.
  • She made her C2C Festival debut in London and Germany this spring and is set to make her CMA Fest debut in Nashville next week.
  • Rodrigues continues her live/touring representation with Select Music, one of Australia's leading independent booking agencies.

Brisbane-born Tyla Rodrigues has officially signed with Vincent Torrez Management for artist management, with Emily Vincent and Alex Torrez of Nashville-based Torrez Music Group leading her team.

The 22-year-old has been building serious momentum. Her 2026 EP Hold On Tight, released through ABC Music, delivered two Australian Top 20 country airplay singles in “Hot & Heavy” and “By The Time It’s Over.”

In March, she linked up with fellow TMG artist Braxton Keith on an Amazon Music Original of “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind,” racking up over 7 million streams ahead of its June 19 wide release.

Keith, who recently earned a Gold certification for his breakout single “Cozy” and made his Grand Ole Opry debut, is one of the standout names already in the TMG stable, a strong signal of the company’s trajectory.

Rodrigues continues with Select Music for live and touring representation. On the festival circuit, she has already played CMC Rocks QLD, Groundwater, Tamworth, and her debut C2C dates in Europe.

Similar to how Jo Dee Messina’s fresh management alignment with mtheory signals a new chapter for an established act, this signing marks the moment Rodrigues’ international ambitions get a serious Nashville engine behind them.

Much like Tiger La Flor’s signing with 3 Vultures for management, this deal pairs a rising artist with a boutique firm betting on long-term development over short-term gains.

Her CMA Fest debut is next week.

Takeaways

This signing is a smart, well-timed move, and here’s why it matters. Tyla Rodrigues isn’t just an Australian artist making a Nashville connection; she’s an artist who has already done the work.

Debut EP Upon Reflection crossed 1 million streams, she earned a Golden Guitar nomination for Best New Talent, toured with Dylan Gossett, was invited onstage with Noah Kahan, played C2C in Europe, and now walks into CMA Fest week as a managed artist with a Nashville team. That’s a real foundation.

Torrez Music Group brings genuine credibility here. Alex Torrez has a track record running from Columbia Records to artist development, and Emily Vincent leads the day-to-day with hands-on artist focus.

Their existing work with Braxton Keith, a Warner Music Nashville act now Gold-certified and Grand Ole Opry-debuted, shows they can build artists for the long game. For an international act like Rodrigues, that Nashville infrastructure is hard to replicate.

The fact that she retains Select Music for touring also speaks to a smart team structure, keeping what’s working in her home territory while adding a Nashville layer for global growth.

Will this signing fast-track a U.S. label deal for Rodrigues, or does TMG’s indie-first ethos keep her independent longer? Could we see a full Tyla Rodrigues/Braxton Keith collaborative project emerge from their growing creative chemistry? Does the “artist-first, long-term development” model at TMG give international artists a better shot than major management firms chasing quick commercial wins?
