Paris Lees is a journalist born on 28th July 1986 in Nottinghamshire, England. She was the first transgender columnist for Vogue magazine and presenter on BBC Radio 1 and Channel 4. In 2013, she ranked number one Independent on Sunday’s Pink List. She also won the 2012 Positive Role Model Award for LGBT. After graduating from college, she relocated to London to pursue a career in journalism.

She founded the trans-focused British magazine Meta and also worked at Gay Times as assistant director. Lees has also written for various magazines and newspapers, including The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, Vice, and PinkNews. In October 2013, she was a panelist on a multi-format series, “100 Women”. In 2021, she published her first book, “What It Feels Like For A Girl.”
