Hop Along is an American indie-rock band led by Frances Quinlan, as a collective sequel to her solo project Hop Along, Queen Ansleis. It was formed in 2009 in Philadelphia after Frances came together with her brother and drummer Mark joined, and with bassist Tyler Long. The band released the EP’s “Wretches” and “Is Something Wrong?” before their debut LP “Get Disowned” went out in 2012. Hop Along received critical acclaim for this effort, and in 2014 guitarist Joe Reinhart was added to the lineup. After signing with Saddle Creek Records, the band issued “Painted Shut” (2015), a chart-topper which was also highly praised by critics, featuring in Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of the year. Three years later, the band released their third LP “Bark Your Head Off, Dog”.
