Clowns is an Australian hardcore punk band formed in Melbourne in 2009. Its lineup consists of Stevie Williams (vocals), Jake Laderman (drums), Jarrod Goon (guitar), Will Robinson (guitar), and Hanny J (bass, vocals). They made their debut in 2013 with the full-length “I’m Not Right,” which prompted the band on a supporting tour for the album. Two years later the combo toured outside Australia with the original material from their new LP “Bad Blood”. By 2017 the band was headlining big Australian festivals like Wacken Open Air and opening shows for Foo Fighters. That same year the band released the full-length “Lucid Again”. Their fourth studio album “Nature/Nurture” went out in 2019 with Fat Wreck Chords and peaked at #6 in the ARIA charts.
