As We Ascend is a Christian hard rock band formed in 2016 in Nashville Tennessee. The bands members are Justin Forshaw, Jake Jones, and music producer Robert Venable. Justin Forshaw and Jake Jones are former members of the Christian rock band We as Human that has played shows and toured with bands like Papa Roach, Shinedown, Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Korn, and others. As We Ascend came together in 2016 and released their debut single the same year titled “Wash Away.” In 2017 they released their debut album titled Farewell to Midnight with the help of a PledgeMusic Campaign. In 2019 they plan to release their EP Germany Acoustic Sessions that will also be crowd-funded by their fans.
