Against the Current is an American pop rock band formed in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2011. The band consists of Chrissy Costanza as the lead vocalist, Dan Gow as the guitarist, and Will Ferri as the drummer. The band was started by Dan Glow, Will Ferri, and Jeremy Rompala. They initially gained popularity posting covers on YouTube and working with other singers on YouTube. In 2014 they released their first EP titled Infinity under their own label. In 2011 they released their second EP titled Gravity. That same year they were signed to the record label Fueled by Ramen and in 2016 released their debut full-length album titled In Our Bones. They followed it up in 2018 with their second studio album Past Lives. In 2015 the band announced their first headlining tour called the Gravity World Tour. They toured for four months around North America, Europe, and Asia.
