When you’re ready to book, you will need to contact their agent. If they don't have an agent, then the best person to contact is their manager. Your inquiry email should provide information about the organization/cause as well as event logistics. Make your email personal; highlight specific commonalities between your cause/organization. Be sure to include information about the venue, date, and time for the event, as this will be necessary for initial consideration. Additional information to have beforehand include: venue capacity, number of people expected to attend, timeframe for the performance, budget, and a deadline for artist confirmation. Have a budget ready beforehand and be mindful of additional costs you may incur including transportation and housing for the artist and equipment for the performance.
