Team EZY is the nickname for Andrew Gold, a Los Angeles music producer, DJ and electronic musician. Team EZY started as a duo, but it soon became a one man project. The influences of Team EZY are multiple, but among the most important Drew has cited Bonobo and Pretty Lights, as well as hip hop bands. Team EZY started becoming a household name among the dance electronic house scene in Los Angeles, where he worked as a DJ/producer, playing in parties and clubs. In 2011, Gold met Sonny John Moore, also known as Skrillex, who was starting his Mothership Tour, which featured projection mapping and motion capture technology. Team EZY got their first breakthrough when they were invited by Skrillex to tour along them. Team EZY then became Skrillex DJ Tech and earned further recognition releasing songs like “Pretty Bye Bye” alongside Skrillex and Njomza.
