Spencer Horwitz is a baseball player born on 14th November 1997 in Maryland, United States. He is currently playing for the MLB team, Toronto Blue Jays. In the 2023 World Baseball Classic, he represented Israel. Horwitz attended St. Paul's School, where he played baseball. He was twice named MIAA All-Conference and 2016 MIAA First Team. Horwitz played college baseball for Radford University. He was named Big South Conference Second Team and Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American 2017. Horwitz was called again to the Big South Conference Second Team in 2018. He played summer baseball for the Bourne Braves and was named a Big South Conference Honorable Mention in 2019.

He started his professional career with the Toronto Blue Jays after being selected in the 24th round of the 2019 MLB Draft. He was named an Appalachian League Post-Season All-Star in 2019. He was a 2021 Postseason All-Star and the Northwest League's Top MLB Prospect. Horwitz was named the Arizona Fall League Rising Star in 2022. He spent three years in their minor league system before making the 40-man roster in November 2022. Horwitz was promoted to the majors on June 16, 2023, and debuted with the Blue Jays.
