Hanna Borisivna Korsun, who is known professionally for her stage name Maruv, is a Ukrainian singer. She is also a composer, a poet and a music producer. She is best known for being the winner of singing competition Vidbir in February 2019, where she performed ‘Siren Song’. She was selected to represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2019 but she ultimately withdrew from representing her country in Tel Aviv and Ukraine withdrew over all due to contract disagreements and a politicized demand. Maruv was born in Pavlohrad in Ukraine on the 15th of February of 1992. She currently lives and works in Ukranian capital Kyiv.
