Los Hermanos is a musical group based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Founded in 1997, the band is made up of vocalist/guitarist Marcelo Camelo, guitar/vocalist Rodrigo Amarante, and keyboardist Bruno Medina. The band became popular after their breakthrough release of “Anna Julia” in 1999. Their music style is a combination of indie rock with Música popular brasileira and elements of samba.

They recorded two demos that were sent to the producer of the Abril Pro Rock festival, Paulo Andre. He was impressed by their vocals and invited them to perform at the music festival in Brazil. After the release of Anna Julia, which became very popular, they released Bloco do Eu Sozinho in 2001 and Ventura in 2003, which was a bit less financially successful. Although they were not as successful as the first album, they clearly indicated the team’s ability to write clever lyrics.
