Liilz (born Ilyas) is a fast-rising rapper and TikTok star from West London, who went viral for his 2022 single, “Glad U Came” featuring fellow British rapper and singer ZieZie. The song was sampled from The Wanted’s 2012 hit single “Glad You Came.”
Born in 2006 in West London, Liilz used to be a TikToker before he became recognized as a rapper. He did several duets, including one with upcoming rapper Deno Dritz and uploaded them on his TikTok account.
After one of his snippets went viral on TikTok in 2022, Liilz became a subject of interest. This led to a collaboration with fellow UK rapper Ziezie to drop the song, “Glad U Came.” The song is Gold Certified, making it Liilz’s first major award. He is also active on Instagram. In one of his posts, Liilz disclosed he was sitting for his GCSE exams, expressing how hard it was to balance music and studies. The 16-year-old recently dropped his second song, “Change Ur Life,” under Sony Entertainment.
