Cut Copy is a band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia which was formed in 2001. The members of the band include Tim Hoey, Ben Browning, Mitchell Scott, Dan Whitford, and Kevin Young. Cut Copy released the seven-track album I Thought of Numbers in 2001. Among the tracks, “Glittering Clouds” was the most popular. This album was followed by another one in 2004, Bright Like Neon Love released under Modular Recordings. The group released their EP Going Nowhere in 2006. The year 2008 saw the release of the album In Ghost Colours and the EP Hearts on Fire. The release of their Zonoscope album followed in 2011. The band’s Free Your Mind, January Tape, and Haiku from Zero were released in the following years. In 2018, the group also released the single “Ocean Blue.”
