…And You Will Know Us by the Trail Of Dead. also known as Trail of Dead, is an art-rock punk band based in Austin, Texas. The band began as a duo consisting of Conrad Keely and Jason Reece who became friends in high school in Hawai’i in 1988. They would later reunite in Austin and begin the band that would eventually become known as …And You Will Know Us by the Trail Of Dead. The band is known for their dramatic flourishes and performance at their live shows. Though members have come and gone, the two remain the core of Trail of Dead. In 1995, they released their first demo, Isis, via Golden Hour, an underground cassette-only label, and played at their first live show. In 1998, they released their debut self-titled album.
