Poolside is the name of an American electronic music band formed by Jeffrey Paradise and Filip Nikolic, and based in Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2010, although Nikolic left the band in 2017. The band currently consists of Jeff Paradise, with additional members available for live performances. His first big hit came with the video for the song “Do You Believe?”. Poolside soon gained local and national attention, with DJs including James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem and Techno legend Derrick May. In early 2012, as they were preparing to release their debut album, Poolside worked on a new single and video for a song called “Slow Down”. The album was released in July 2012, called Pacific Standard Time, and it was well received by the audience.
