Eisbrecher, translated as “Icebreaker”, is an EBM/industrial metal band from Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany. The band is composed of Alexx Wesselsky (vocals) and Noel Pix (lead guitar and programming), with live support from Jürgen Plangger (guitar), Rupert Keplinger (bass), Achim Färber (drums), and Max Schauer (keyboards and programming).

After leaving Megaherz in 2003, Alexx Wesselsky got together with Noel Pix, and combined their musical ideas, concepts, and styles. The band released its debut album "Eisbrecher" in 2004. The self-titled debut album Eisbrecher featured an EBM and electronic sound.

On October 20, 2006, the band released a second album, titled "Antikörper." Eisbrecher dropped a third album "Sünde" in 2008, right after the release of their hit single "Kann denn Liebe Sünde Sein?" released midsummer. The band's lyrics and slogans often include terms of ice and sailing, such as "Ahoi" (Ahoy) and "Es wird kalt" (It's getting cold).
