Mad Sin is a German Hard Rock psychobilly music group that was formed in 1987 but shot to fame in the 90s. It is a six-member group comprising Koefte De Ville, Manny Anzaldo, Andy Kandil, Valle, Ko Ristolainen, and Hellvis. Unlike other psychobilly groups that sprang in Germany and that era, Mad Sin’s music style blends metal, country, and punk, without leaving the psycho vibe, a core element of the psychobilly genre.

The group was formed by Koefte De Ville, a school dropout and guitarist Stein. In its early years, Mad Sin struggled to get gigs and regularly played as street musicians to get tourists’ money. Finally, the group hit the ground running with the release of its first album “Chills and Thrills in a Drama of Mad Sins and Mystery” in 1988.

In 1990, Mad Sin released its second album “Distorted Dimensions,” which received critical acclaim. The group released ten other albums, the last one “Unbreakable” released in September 2020.
