Bowofoluwa Olufisayo Odunsi popularly known as Odunsi (The Engine) was born on June 7th, 1996 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian singer, music producer, and songwriter. Odunsi’s genre of music cuts across Afro-pop, R&B, disco, indie pop, and funk. He started his career at the age of 16 where he made music and rave beats.

His Extended play titled" Times of our lives" was a chart-topping project in 2016. Odunsi’s single titled "Desire" became a sensational hit and was even played on MTV Base US, UK, and other platforms in 2017.

His style in the music industry has been recognized to be afro-fusion. He released an album in 2018 titled "Rare" featuring artists like Davido, Santiago, Runtown, etc.

Odunsi’s biggest hit is the single "Tipsy," a duet with British singer Raye in 2019. Early 2020, Odunsi dropped the surprise EP "Everything You Heard Is True", which featured Amaarae, Gigi Atlantis, Deto Black, and Maison2500.

He is currently signed to a record deal with Universal Music Nigeria and Warner/Chappell Music UK. Odunsi received award nominations like "Most Promising " in 2017 The Nigerian Entertainment Awards and Best New Artist in 2018 SoundCity MVP.
