He was only two years old when he moved to Washington DC with his parents and little sister. He worked in a varied number of jobs, until he opened his own small coffee shop, ‘Murky Coffee’, in Washington DC. In 2010, Nick partnered with Trish Rothgeb, with whom he started a coffee company called Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters.
In 2019, he started his TikTok account, called ‘yourkoreandad’, which has collected over 3 million followers and over 44 million likes ever since. Nick is also the YouTuber behind the channel ‘Your Korean Dad’, which has over 196,000 subscribers.
