Mailan Ghafouri, popularly known as Lune, is a singer, rapper, and social media personality born on September 25, 2002, in Sinsheim, Germany. Her music is an RnB-tinged style of hip-hop. In May 2020, she participated in the first episode of Keller sucht den Superstar, an Instagram video series hosted by rapper Mois. She showcased her talent by performing in both German and French. This showcase led to a collaboration with MC Samra in August on his single Cr1minel. The music video for the single garnered over 5 million views on YouTube.

Lune released her debut single, Gebe auf, in October 2020. The trap-pop medley peaked at Number 20 on the German charts. This single helped enlarge her ever-growing online fanbase, gaining over 50,000 followers on Instagram. The single sold over 215,000 units. It was certified gold in Germany and Austria.

Lune has released one EP, 16 singles, and 15 videos. She released her debut EP, Mondschein, under Warner Music on September 10, 2021. It peaked at number 75 in Germany and number 67 in Switzerland. She has collaborated with David Guetta, Monet192, Bojan, Vito, and Gustavo Bravetti.
