Sarunas J. Jackson is an American actor born on 12th March 1990 in California. He is best known for playing Alejandro 'Dro' Peña in the HBO series "Insecure." Before he started acting, he was a professional basketball player. He began his acting career by featuring in commercials. He decided to switch from basketball to acting in 2012. He made his debut in the film "Draft Day," which was released in 2014.
Since joining the film industry, he has made some minor appearances in different shows, including Major Crimes, The 5th Food Dream, Transparent, Covert, Good Trouble, and others. In 2019, he appeared in the TV series "Games People Play" as Marques King. He voices the need for Afro-Latinos representation but believes ethnicity should not be the focus of every story.
