Death Valley Girls is a music group from Los Angeles. The group was formed in 2013 by drummer Patty Schemel. Other members include Patty’s brother Larry Schemel, Bonnie Bloomgarden (vocals), and Rachel Orosco (bass). In 2014, the band released their first album, titled “Street Venom,” on Burger Records. Patty left the band after a short time, and his place was taken by Laura Kelsey. The band released “Glow in the Dark” in 2016. Death Valley Girls signed with Suicide Squeeze Records and released a new album titled “Darkness Rain” under the label. In 2020, they unveiled their fourth full-length album, titled “Under the Spell of Joy”. The band's music covers different genres, including psychedelic rock and garage rock, and has been a huge success in the United States and around the world.
