Dare Art Alade, also known as Darey, is a Nigerian musical artist, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria, on February 9, 1982. As Darey was studying music at the University of Lagos, he began his career as an entertainer as a presenter on the Nigerian radio station 99.9 Cool FM. He became a household name when he participated in the famous reality talent show Project Fame. He released his first studio project From Me 2 U in 2006. His discography includes the singles Not the Girl, Jah Guide Me, Jojo, Pray for Me featuring Soweto Gospel Choir, and the albums UnDAREYted, Naked, and Double Dare Vol. 1. He has appeared on Kel’s Album The Investment, Riko Blizzy’s single La Candela, and in the compilation album The Lost Chapter, Vol. 1 that also features DJ Vinnie, Bracket, and KNX Virus.
