Faydee is the stage name of Fady Fatrouni, an Australian-Lebanese music producer, singer and songwriter. He was born on the 2nd of February, 1987, in Sydney, Australia. Fatrouni’s parents are originally from Tripoli, Lebanon, and his musical heritage was always present through his young years. He began writing and self-recording his own music as a teenager and at age 19, he was discovered by the owner of the label Buckle Up Entertainment, Ronnie Diamond. In 2008, he teamed up with Divy Pota and released a string of hits like “Say My Name”, “Forget the World” and “Psycho”, among others. In 2009, he released his debut album “Never Saw Me Coming” alongside the EP “Never Ever”. In 2014, he released the single “Habibi” which entered the Billboard Hot 100. The single was a huge success, with over 22 million streams on Fatrouni’s official YouTube channel. In 2015, he won the Best European Artist Award at the Big Apple Music Awards, in Germany.
