Chris Liebing is a German DJ, electronic music producer and radio host, besides being the founder of the record CLR. He was born Christopher Liebing on December 11, 1968, in Giessen, Hesse, Germany. He started his career by performing as DJ on the local Frankfurt dance scene, and in 1994, he opened his first techno club called The Spinclub. Two years later, Liebing launched his record label Audio, followed in 1999 by CLR. He became a worldwide requested DJ in the 2000s, known for his exploratory use of the technology in a creative way. In 2003, he released his debut album “Evolution” which is a conceptual album entirely co-produced by Chris Liebing and André Walter. The album got positive reviews from magazines like Pitchfork.
